Rudolf Kämper, trumpeter & composer

Rudolf Kämper has performed as a trumpet player with symphonies in Mexico, Omaha, Baltimore, as well as in Germany. He studied trumpet with Jim Darling, Ed Hoffman, Mauro Maur, and Jack Sutte.
As a composer, Kämper has had performances both in the U.S. and in Germany. He studied composition with Loris Chobanian and attended workshops by Karlheinz Stockhausen, Lucas Foss, and John Corigliano.
Several years ago, Kämper had a vision to form a collective of artists organized in a libertarian way which would produce a great variety of ambitious projects and events. In 2005 he co-founded ANALOG which has produced a wide variety of works worldwide, including ARTSaha! Omaha’s only new music festival.
Rudolf Kämper has also written articles for the Watch and Clock Review Magazine and held classes at Creighton University and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
