Reece Dano has written and premiered four operas to date. He lives in Portland, OR. In 2004, ANALOG arts ensemble gave the world premiere of Dano‘s C#DG#BEC# G#F# D#ECD# (Pierre Boulez Is Dead).

ANALOG arts is a non-profit collective of artists living on three continents and engaged in a wide range of work. Established in Omaha in 2004, ANALOG runs a variety of projects, including a new music festival (ARTSaha!), and a composition contest (Iron Composer).
