Next month, ANALOG arts will release Cello Populus, the solo recording debut by Dariusz Skoraczewski. Most people know Dariusz as the assistant principal cellist in the Baltimore Symphony, or as one-third of Monument Piano Trio, but earlier this year, Dariusz set aside some time to record a few solo works for his instrument.

On Sunday, May 23, Dariusz will perform the program from the CD on a solo recital at Baltimore’s An Die Musik. The repertoire includes solo cello works by Ligeti, Hindemith, Saariaho and others, and there will be a reception following the performance.
